Dr. Jacob Elliott is a Ph.D. Licensed Clinical Psychologist and co-founder of the well established and highly respected group private practice of Elliott & Associates, Inc. He specializes in individual, couples, family therapy, group therapy, psychological testing, biofeedback and EEG neurotherapy and is the Clinical Administrator of the practice which is located at 5600 Monroe Street, Sylvania, Ohio. Dr. Elliott treats adults for a wide variety of emotional and relationship problems. He uses a unique approach to relationship issues helping individuals to focus on unconscious “scripts” that are usually played out in intimate relationships. By bringing these scripts into consciousness they can be understood and modified to enhance the relationships.

Dr. Kathleen Quintus is a Ph.D. license Clinical Psychologist with more than 30 years of experence working with children, adolescents and their families. She has extensive training and experience in individual, group and family therapy. She is also trained as a school psychologist and is a member of the National Association of School Psychologists and the Ohio Psychological Association. Her special interests include assessment of learining disabilities and attention disorders in both children and adults.
Joni Bosse, M.S.W., L.I.S.W. is a licensed independent Social Worker. She is dually licensed in Ohio and Michigan. Joni, who is a member of American Academy of Psychotherapists (AAP), is certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy(DBT) and International Critical Incident Stress Management. Since 1988 she has served as Program Director/Clinical Supervisor of 35 clinicians and 15 university interns and been a speaker on a variety of mental health topics. She conducts individual, couple, family and group counseling with clients of all ages. Her treatment specialties are relationships, ADD/ADHD, anxiety, grief and loss, borderline personality, bipolar, tough love boundaries, abusive relationships, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and addictions.
Kevin Ricker, M.A., L.P.C.C. is Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. He has conduced many seminars and training programs in a large variety of mental health topics and has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in counselor education, sharing his many years of experience with students. He is the former President of the Ohio Division of Marital and Family Therapists and the Step Family Association of America. Kevin’s clinical specializations are in individual therapy for all mental health issues but his primary interests are in the area of relationship, marriage counseling, divorce adjustment and step and blended family issues. With compassion, insight and understanding, he works with each individual and couple to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing. Being a senior member of our staff, he has many years of valuable experience.
Courtney Roberts, M.A., L.P.C. is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She treats children, teens and adults for a variety of emotional, relationship, career and academic issues using individual, conjoint, family and group therapies. Her approach is always caring and supportive while focusing directly on her clients concerns. She has had special training in biofeedback and neurotherapy which she uses to treat such conditions as stress, anxiety, panic, fear, learning problems, stroke, and closed head injury. She also uses the neurotherapy for peak performance training for enhanced learning and sports performance. She had previous experience at the Children’s Resource Center and facilitated in a Severe Behavioral Handicapped Classroom. She has also worked as an Undergraduate Psychology Assistant at Bowling Green State University. She conducted and presented a research study at the 13th Annual Symposium in Psychiatry and Psychology and later had it published in the Psi Chi Journal of Undergraduate Research. She completed a training program by a Certified Biofeedback and Neurotherapy Professional in 2008.
Carol A. Starner, M.A,, L.P.C.C. is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the States of Ohio and Michigan. She is also licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor !!! in the State of Ohio. She is a member of the American Counseling Association. Carol is sensitive to the needs of her clients and adapts her therapy approaches to the issues each presents. She uses a variety of therapy methods such as Cognitive Behavioral, Solution Focused Therapy and is becoming certified as a EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) Therapist which assists clients in reprocessing trauma related issues. Carol treats adults with a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, panic attacks, depression, self-esteem issues, couples counseling & trauma.
She also counsels adults who struggle with chemical dependency. Carol assists her clients in having a better understanding of themselves as a whole person which encompasses the mind, body, belief systems and values. Ann is a Certified Sex Addiction Specialist but treats all types of addiction. She also has training in anger management. Ann is distinguished as the founder of the first Northwest Ohio Hospital based substance abuse detox and treatment center. Ann is certified in the use of guided imagery which she often uses in her therapy treatment.
